BERTHA LOUISE KLIMPKE (nee SCHENDEL) On Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at the Luther Home in Winnipeg, Bertha Louise Klimpke passed away peacefully with son Paul at her side. Mom was 86 years of age. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bill in 1977; also two brothers, Arnold and Werner and sister Elsie Hage. Leaving to mourn and cherish her memory are daughter Eileen (Jack) Bouskill; grandchildren, Anna (Mike) and great-grandboys, Mark and Christopher, Melody (John) Schenkers, Kurt (Camille) and great-grandboys, Austin and Alec, all of Stonewall; daughter Ellen Laramee of Winnipeg; son Paul (Arleen) of Winnipeg and grandson Shane (Sara) of Phoenix, AZ. Mom also leaves one brother Reinhold (Evelyn) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and sister Johanna Arndt of Arcola, SK. We would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of Luther Home for everyone's kind, compassionate care of Mom over the last three years. We very much appreciate everything that you did for her during this time. As it was Mom's wish to be cremated, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Jan Pastucha officiating. A luncheon gathering will immediately follow at the Stonewall Legion Hall. A private family interment is planned at a later date. Flowers are most gratefully declined.
