Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA DERN On January 29, 2005 at the Arborg and District Health Centre, our wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Stella Dern, passed away. Stella was born at Hamrlik, MB on November 14, 1914. Mike and Stella were married on May 18, 1931. They farmed and lived all their lives in the Arborg area. Stella retired to the Personal Care Home in February, 2003. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 73 years, Mike; her children, Emily (Frank), Carl (Denise), Jake (Sylvia), Eva (George), Edward, Lawrence (Jackie); 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony, Wayne, Dale, Bradley, David, Shawn, Michael. A special thank you is extended to the personal care home staff, the home care workers who provided care while she was still at her place of residence and to the hospital staff and doctors at the Arborg and District hospital. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home, in care of arrangements.
