Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ELIZABETH (KNOWLES) DAVIS December 12, 1916 - January 30, 2005 After a brief illness, Mary passed away peacefully January 30, 2005 at Concordia Place. Mary was born in Rosetown, SK on December 12, 1916. She received her formal education in Saskatchewan before graduating with a Fine Arts degree from the Winnipeg School of Fine Arts in 1938. Mary later met and married her lifelong partner of 63 years, George. Along the way, she had two boys, Gordon and Dennis. When she had spare time after looking after and caring for her family, she belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, canvassed for the March of Dimes and was a life member of the Eastern Star. Mary is survived by her husband George; son Gordon (Barbara); grandchildren, Lisa (Sean) Bagg, Douglas (Vanessa) Davis; two great-grandsons, Nicholas and Zachary Davis. She was predeceased by her son Dennis; parents, Catherine and Gordon; brothers, Bob and John. Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 3 at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale Ave., with Rev. Edna Perry officiating. Interment will be held in the family plot at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
