JOYCE DANIELS Joyce passed away peacefully on January 31, 2005. She was born in Pine Falls, MB on July 7, 1953. She resided at Fort Alexander and later moved to Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Gilbert and Liza-Jane Swampy; parents, Helen Daniels and Andrew Bird; brothers, Harry Daniels and Melvin Bird; sister Margaret Fontaine. Joyce leaves behind her daughters, Laverne, Samantha, Jacqueline and Charlene; one son Gilbert; also 27 grandchildren; one brother Joe Daniels; two sisters, Francis Umar, Marlene Gallagher; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Wake services will begin Wednesday afternoon, February 2 and Thursday, February 3 at 401 Maryland Street. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 4 at 1:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue at Parr, Winnipeg, with Fr. Paradis officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Henry Bougie, James Walker, Shaun Gallagher, Ralph Letander, Lorne Merasity, Renee LeClaire.
