NORMA FLETT 1938 - 2005 Peacefully on Monday, January 31, 2005 at the age of 67, Norma Flett passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Norma was born in Meadow Portage, MB, where she resided until 1954. She then moved to Winnipeg where she met her future husband Norbert. Norma was a welder by trade and was employed with Motor Coach Industries for 34 years, until her retirement. She volunteered, enjoyed playing bingo and ice fishing back home. Norma was predeceased by her parents, Elsie and Jim Spence; her husband Norbert Flett; brothers, Gordon, Ivan, Ernest, Ted and Adolphe and sister Margaret Inkster. Remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Wallace, Wesley, Sandra (Langford) and Karen (Leonard); brothers, Charlie (Alice) and Ken (Blanch) Spence; grandchildren, Jacqueline and Craig. There are numerous nieces and nephews throughout Canada and the United States. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue at Parr, Winnipeg. The family gratefully thanks the medical staff of Seven Oaks I.C.U. and St. Boniface Hospital, Chaplin Tim Frymire, Father Lanoie and Father Robert.
