ALBERT HOGUE October 20, 1921 - January 31, 2005 Suddenly on January 31, 2005, Albert Hogue passed away. Dad had been sick for the last few weeks, surprising us by recovering not once but twice, when we thought he wouldn't make it. This time though, he decided that he had had enough. He didn't want his children to see him suffer anymore so he left us on his own time. Dad is survived by his children, Sandra, Irene, Candy, Judy, Larry, Wayne, Danny, Terry, Tracey and Debbie; also he is survived by Margaret; his sister Louise Dawyduk; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved mother Emma (Girardin) Hogue, father Thomas Hogue; his sister Irene Pariseau; brothers, Joseph, Thomas, Johnny, Raymond and Aime. Albert was an amazingly strong-minded man with a will of iron. He served in the Second World War at the young age of 20 years. When he returned from the war he met our mother Margaret Harding and settled down and raised a total of 10 children together. Dad loved his children and taught them how to be strong, just like him. Special thanks to all the staff on D4 at Health Sciences Centre for their loving care of our father. Prayers will be said on Thursday, February 3 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4 at 2:00 p.m., also at the chapel, with Rev. Father Sean Cahill officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. Pallbearers will be sons Larry, Wayne, Danny, Terry Hogue and grandsons Darren and Barry Jr. How sweet to sleep where all is peace Where sorrow cannot reach the breast Where all life's idle throbbing cease And pain is lulled to rest. Goodbye Dad We love you Until we meet again. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
