ROSE ALICE MANNING

ROSE ALICE MANNING passed away on Monday, January 24, 2005 at the age of 90 years. She was born near Carman, MB on December 19, 1914. Rose is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charlie, to whom she was both a wonderful wife and best friend. She went to school in St. James and became an accomplished pianist. With her sisters, Ivy and Kathleen, she enjoyed lawn bowling, card games and bingo. She and Charlie travelled to California and travelled to Britain many times. She worked at Eaton's mail order for many years. Rose was predeceased by her sisters, Ivy and Kathleen Lewis, and brother John Lewis. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held to honour her life on Friday, February 4, at 2:00 p.m., at St. James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate St., Winnipeg, (just south of Portage Avenue). In lieu of flowers, donation's in Rose's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
