Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORENZA LUSSIER (nee LAVALLEE) 1918 - 2005 It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Lorenza Eliza Lussier (nee Lavallee) on February 2, 2005, aged 86 years. Lorenza will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children, Lionel (Carol) Lussier, Claudette (Paul-Emile) Labossiere and Claire (Normand) Mabon; grandchildren, Ryan (Shawna), Chad (Sara) and Kyle Lussier, Jeremie (Tanya), Jolene (Daniel) and Amanda Labossiere, Nathalie (Philippe), Melissa, Lise (Daniel) and Philip Mabon and her special great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Quinn and Victoria; her sisters, Maria Landry, Anna Dupuis; her brothers, Donat Lavallee and Romeo (Odile) Desorcy and numerous nephews and nieces. Lorenza married Firmin Lussier November 16, 1945 and lived on the farm in Mariapolis until 1971 when they moved to town. Mom was the ideal mother and farm wife, she worked countless hours along side Dad. She became an extraordinary cook for her family and later her cherished grandchildren. She loved spending time with her friends at the friendship centre, bingo every week but knitting was her passion. She especially loved family gatherings with children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years Firmin; an infant child, her parents, Charles and Mathilde Lavallee; her brothers-in-law Adrien Dupuis, Edmond Landry and sisters-in-law, Camilla Lavallee and Suzanne Desorcy and numerous other brothers and sisters-in-law on her husband's side. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to home care workers and the staff at Foyer Notre Dame. Prayers and final farewell for family only will be said from the Budz Funeral Chapel, Holland, MB, Friday, February 4 at 8:30 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Firmin Michiels from Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Mariapolis, MB on Saturday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Lorenza's memory to the Foyer Notre Dame, Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB R0G 1M0. Truly your Mom was a great lady. I still remember when your Dad was courting your Mom and he would come upstairs into the dining room to see her.
