RACHEL (NAULT) VERMETTE (nee GLADU) It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Rachel Vermette on Monday, January 31, 2005 at Tache Centre. Rachel was born in La Rochelle, MB on April 10, 1916 and raised in St. Boniface. She married Leon Nault in 1949, after his passing in 1986 she married Joe Vermette. Her family was very important to her and she expressed that daily with her unconditional love. Left to cherish Rachel's memory are; her son Romain Nault and his wife Anna; her daughter Angela Liewicki and her husband Ric; grandchildren, Jonathon, Travis and Caitlin Liewicki. Rachel is also survived by her sister Bibiane Marshall of International Falls, MN, and her brother Adelard Gladu of Fort Frances, ON. The family would like to thank the staff of ABC 5th floor at the Tache Centre for their kindness, and very professional manner. Our mother was cared for as if she was every staff member's own mother, Thank You. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 9 at the Cathedrale St. Boniface, 190 rue de la Cathedrale at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Rachel's memory can be made to the Tache Centre, 185 Despins St., Winnipeg, MB.
