Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR JOSEPH GABRIEL CHARBONNEAU December 18, 1941 - February 3, 2005 It is with deep sadness we the family announce the passing of our beloved husband, Dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Arthur passed away on February 3, 2005 at the Deer Lodge Care Home surrounded by his loving family and friends after a lengthy illness. Art was predeceased by his parents, Gabriel and Eva Charbonneau; (brothers), Leslie Charbonneau, Peter Charbonneau; (sister) Florence Palmer. Art put in 18 years of service with the City of Winnipeg, then went to the Building Products Company for several years and later a small business. He had a very outgoing personality and loved socializing with his extended family. He was also fond of practical jokes and kept us amused. He was very fond of music, was a talented singer and dancer. He spent hours and hours videotaping his granddaughter Karlee. Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Donna, of 37 years; daughter Shannon; granddaughter Karlee; brothers, Leo (Audrey), Norman, Donald (Alice); sisters, Lillian Bester, Dolly Matsyk (Wayne), many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be nephews, Daryl Charbonneau, Gary Bester, Jim Bester, Thomas Palmer, Vincent Brown, Michael Matsyk and honorary pallbearer, brother, Donald Charbonneau. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, February 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Followed by a memorial mass to be held on Wednesday, February 9 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, located 300 Donalda, East Kildonan, interment at Elmwood Cemetery. Art will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Deer Lodge Care Centre (4 East), for all their care and kindness received during his illness.
