Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER JACOB YOUNG On Thursday morning, February 3, 2005, surrounded by the love of family and friends, Walter passed away peacefully at the Villa Youville. Walter was predeceased by his mother and father, Wilhelmina and Jacob Young; brothers, Arthur (Jessie), Leo (Ida); sisters, Lena (Bill) Haack, Katie (Bill) Keam, Annie (Sam) Larter, Gertrude, Emma (Frank) Dunlop; brother-in-law, Jim Boale; and nieces, Jean Peaker, Ruth Osiowy; and nephew Gordon Keam. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his dear sister Margaret Boale and many nieces, nephews and their families. Walter was born on September 29, 1921. With the exception of the last two years he lived his entire life in the Prairie Grove/Lorette area, where he farmed the land that originally belonged to his father. Walter was a generous, warm hearted man, who opened his doors to all. He loved to tease, laugh and humour people with his jokes. In January 2003, Walter became a resident of the Villa Youville. While living here he made many friends and found much happiness, peace and contentment. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at the Villa Youville, Dr. Demoissac and a special hug for Sister Irene Rioux and Sister Marguerite Forest. Angels do walk among us. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 8 at 1:30 p.m., with viewing from 12:45 p.m. till 1:15 p.m. at Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Dr., with Rev. Dr. Sharon Wilson officiating. Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery. Although Walter loved flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Villa Youville or a charity of your choice.
