Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Hello from Holland. My greatgrandmothers name is Kers, Tonia. She had a little brother Jurrien, who was born in 1865 in Vaassen. When writing down his surname by the official something went wrong. He understand Kars instead of Kers. This man became also a father around 1900-1910 and had sons who were named Harmen and Arie. But perhaps there are more sons.. I haven't found out all of it. I know since three days about the namechange within the familie. My uncle has searched for years in archives, but the internet makes things more easy. So I tried the name in de archives but dit not found direct relatives until I tried random away on the internet. Amazed to see that the name popped up. Sadly to hear and read about the deceasing of your Jurrien Kars. He had a good life and lovely family as I read. But are you family? Do you know more about his father and mother. My greatgrandmother lived in Vaassen also. And her little brother Jurrien also of course. Please give me an answer. Perhaps we are somewhere related? Love you already. Annemiek van den Berg - Posted by: Annemiek van den Berg (niece) on: Aug 10, 2017
