MERCIA McFADYEN Suddenly on Saturday, February 5, 2005 Mercia McFadyen, aged 67 passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Mercia was predeceased by her husband Bill, in November 1994. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, Laurie (Bruce) Ritchie, David McFadyen and Janet (Terry) Hildebrand; grandchildren, Darren (Rhonda) Ritchie, Charla (Lee) Rimmer, Melissa (Stefan), Ryan Ritchie (Jamie), Erica Edinborough and Kalyn McFadyen; great-grandchildren, Quinn and Nolan Ritchie and her sister Carol Smith and family. Mercia will be sadly missed by her many brothers and sisters-in-law and their families. Mercia retired in 1995 from the Children's Hospital recovery room, where she worked as a Unit Assistant for 25 years. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, a donation to the Children's Hospital, CE501-840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1S1, would be appreciated.
