MORRIS ARLINS After a lengthy illness, at Beacon Hill Lodge, Morris passed away February 4, 2005 with his wife and their friend Daniel Montiero at his side. Morris was predeceased by his dear mother in 1968 and his father in 1976 and his brother-in-law Arthur Kushner in 2004. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Marie of 40 years; his dear sisters, Janet Arlinsky and Ethel Kushner; and his many cousins. Morris was born in Cosow, Poland, came to Canada at age 7. At a young age he worked as a grocery clerk in Flin Flon, where he lived, until the beginning of the Second World War. At that time he enlisted in the Artillery Division of the Canadian Army. He spent five years in the army, mostly in Italy. He came back to Winnipeg, where he again worked in the grocery store, eventually with his wife opening a business of their own. After 10 years, he retired. He then joined the Corps of Commissionaires and worked at the Airport and Minto Armouries. When his health started failing, he quit his job and had to retire. His wife made the kind of home for him that enabled him to enjoy the latter part of his life as much as possible, but eventually as his health deteriorated he entered Beacon Hill Lodge, where he resided for seven years until his passing. Many thanks to Peter and Valerie Kohut, also Daniel Montiero for their love and support. Also my sincerest thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff for the care and love they showed him. That will never be forgotten. Cremation has taken place, and a private service will be held with Rev. Fr. Isidore Dziadyk officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Morris's memory to a charity of one's choice. Rest in Peace, My Darling Your memory will be everlasting. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
