Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL GEORGE STRUMBISKY In loving memory of our dear brother and uncle who passed into the arms of the Lord on February 4, 2005. He was predeceased by his parents, Dmytro and Warwara; his sister Maria (Peter); Tanchuk; and his brother Peter Strumbicki. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Dorothy Ann Wish, Elaine (Paul) Bzovy; and his brother Alex (Kay) Starrett; his nephews, Gary (Susan) Wish, Robert Wish and John (Lyn) Bzovy; his nieces, Anne-Shirley (Robb) Clough, Barbara (Michael) Bilenki, Gloria (Les) Paziuk, Darlene (Reg) Paylor and Frances (Ric) Boutelier; his great-nieces, Leslie Lahoda, Jade Wish, Brandi and Sherry Bilenki, Carrie (Jeff) Hlady and Kristen Paziuk; his great-nephews, Christopher Lahoda, Jardy Wish, Justin and Calvin Bzovy and Scott Paziuk; his great-great-nieces, Taylor and Arah Wish and Jaclyn Hlady; and his great-great-nephew William Hlady. Mike had an active life living in Vita, Calgary and Winnipeg. He was born November 2, 1914 and farmed in the Vita area in his younger days. He had an excellent sense of humour and loved to comment on the politics and happenings of the world. He was an amateur meteorologist and never missed observing and recording weather patterns. He was unable to serve in the Second World War because of his health, but was proud to contribute working in an army supply depot. Prayers will be held on Friday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in Vita, MB with Rev. Fr. Myron Pozniak officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Thanks to the doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
