ANNA GUEST It is with our deepest regret that our mother, Anna Elizabeth Guest passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2005 leaving to mourn her son Ed and wife Pat Guest; daughter Amy and husband Glen Brown; grandchildren, Kurtis Brown, Angela Slusarenko, Amanda Guest, Wade Pluchinske; and great-grandchildren, Kian, Savannah and Lochlain Slusarenko. She was predeceased by her husband Harold; brothers, Harold and Henry. Anna was born in 1917 in the city of Winnipeg. She lived her entire life in West Kildonan. She was loved by everyone as a kind and caring friend, mother and grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved knitting, crocheting, sports, bird watching, reading and visiting with her special friends, Peggy Robinson, Nora Harmer and Alice Olford. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery, 2373 Main St. at John Black Avenue with Rev. Mary Lysecki officiating. Thank you to Dr. P. Bhanot and all of the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Guide Dog for the Blind, P.O. Box 280, Manotick, ON K4M 1A3, Heart and Stroke Foundation, CancerCare Manitoba or Cerebral Palsy. I AM FREE Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me I took His hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work or play, Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that place at the close of day If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things, I too will miss, Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savoured much. Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me God wanted me now, He set me free.
