DORIS SOROSKIE Doris passed away peacefully at Cottonwoods Extended Care, surrounded by her family, on Friday, February 4, 2005, at the age of 87. Doris was born in Niverville, MB, on August 12, 1917. Doris was predeceased by her loving husband John; sister Violet; brother John; and her parents Stefan and Kateryn Palibroda. Survived by four children, Shirley (Bob) Thacker of Kelowna, Frances Domich of Delta, BC, John (Diane) Soroskie of Kelowna and June (Les) Soroskie of Vancouver, BC; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; one sister Helen Krause of Winnipeg, MB; many nieces and nephews and many good friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd., Kelowna, BC. Interment will take place at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
