ROSEMARIE MALISAUSKAS
Date of Passing: Feb 04, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSEMARIE MALISAUSKAS Our dear wife and mother, Mimi, quietly passed away on February 4, 2005 at Concordia Hospital. After being married in Germany, Mimi and Jonas came to the North End of Winnipeg in 1950 where they raised their two sons. There were many good times celebrated with the Lithuanian community at St. Casimir's Church and with the German community at the Canadian German Society. Our family enjoyed many camping experiences at Nutimik Lake and Oak Point. Later on, we shared our good times at the family cottage at Winnipeg Beach. Mimi was an efficient and friendly nurse's aid and desk clerk at St. Boniface Hospital for over 30 years, where she touched many lives. In her spare time she loved to knit and crochet. Her beautiful needlework was made with love for her family. Mimi will be remembered for giving unconditional love to her family, always. Her positive outlook throughout her life continued during her illness. Mimi was a person who was very grateful for the small things in life. Mimi totally lived for her family. She will be sadly missed by her husband Jonas; son Bruno (wife Pat, Angela, Derrick), son Margis (wife Cindy, Christopher, Anthony); sister Brunhilde (husband Bill); nephew Jim (wife Nancy, Nicolas, Dylan); uncle Hans (wife Elsie, Marie-Louise); aunt Sophie (husband, Art). Thank you to the 3rd floor staff at Concordia Hospital for their excellent care. Mimi's family is very grateful for their efforts in making her comfortable in her last few months. Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 11, 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
