ELEANOR WILLIAMS With heavy hearts the family of Eleanor Williams (nee Atkins) announces the passing of our Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, sister, and Aunt, at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 82. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Howard; grandson David; and brother Blake. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remember by her daughter Brenda Hunter; son Blain, (Pam); daughter Nancy Fluker (Doug) and her cherished grandchildren, Darrin, Kevin and Meaghan, Tracy and Crystal, Derick, Kelsey and Kyle; as well as her two great-grandchildren, Emileigh and Seona; her sister Grace Meyers and many other family members. She was the family's matriarch. She taught us all how to love unconditionally, without judgment of human flaws. She held her strength and grace throughout her illness and even in her struggle during her final days she maintained her sprit as the everlasting hostess for her family by her side. We would like to thank all the staff at Riverview Health center, as well as Leanne, an exceptional student nurse. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10 at St. James United Church, 234 Parkview St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either CNIB or the Canadian Cancer Society.
