CORISE MARIE JOHNSON (nee DESAUTELS) It is with the deepest of sorrows that we announce the sudden passing of Corise Johnson on Sunday, February 6, 2005, at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 64 years. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband Raymond Johnson, of 44 years of marriage; her children, Susan Raymond (Marc), Janet Johnson, Elizabeth Wagner (Jason), Tracey Johnson and Michael Johnson; as well she will be sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives. Corise was born on November 30, 1940. She married Raymond on October 1, 1960 and together they raised five beautiful children while living in Winnipeg, Dryden and Vancouver and eventually settling back in Winnipeg. Corise was a loving, devoted and caring person with a great sense of humour. She chose to share these special qualities every day as a health care aid in her workplace. Corise's spirit will continue to live through those who cherish her. On Friday, February 11 at 10:30 a.m., Corise's funeral service will be held in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. at Mount Royal Road. Interment will follow in the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations in Corise's memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2.
