ADELA (DELLA) CAMERON (nee MELLING) May 8, 1913 - February 7, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Della on Monday, February 7, 2005, at the Concordia Hospital, at the age of 91 years. Mum was predeceased by her husband Derick Cameron, whom she had shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. She leaves to mourn her son Phil (Diane); daughter Diane Hancocks; her presence will be missed by her grandchildren, Darren, Andrew (Elaina), Julie (Doug), Tracey and Tim (Tracy); great-grandchildren, Rob, Ben, Selena, Jessica, Cameron and Brooke; and sister Vera (Doug). Mum shared and dedicated her love, laughter and passion for life with her family and friends. She encouraged her family to become strong, independent and caring by personal example and gentle encouragement. At Mum's request, no formal funeral service will be held. The family invites friends to a gathering on Thursday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Transcona Canad Inn, 826 Regent Avenue West (Plessis and Regent). We would like to extend our sincerest thank you and appreciation to Dr. Welsh and the staff at Concordia Hospital for all their efforts and kindness. Flowers are gratefully declined.
