JACK DAVID WISHNOWSKI May 25, 1959 - February 6, 2005 After a courageous battle with cancer, Jack passed away peacefully in his sleep with his entire family by his side. Left to cherish Jack's memory are his mother Annette Wishnowski; stepfather Bob Desrochers; sisters, Barbara (Peter) Horder of Calgary, Sharon Lussier of Winnipeg, Cathy (Keith) Rich of Vivian, MB, Jacqueline (Dennis) Grenier of Winnipeg; brother Paul Wishnowski of Winnipeg and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack was predeceased by his brother Brian (1977); father Jack (1988); Baba Wishnowski, Grandpa and Grandma Gagnon, brother-in-laws, Paul Lussier and John Dubois. Jack was well liked by all who had the good fortune to have known him. He was very kind-hearted, soft-spoken, most of the time and always thought of others before himself. Even when the going got rough, he suggested we take care of ourselves first. Right to the very end, he lived his life to the fullest down to his last outing at the Marion with family and friends. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. Special thanks to all of his coworkers at K.T. Industries for their support, many visits and phone calls which always brightened his day. He spoke highly of all he worked with and his number one goal was to return to work if only for one day. The family wishes to extend thanks to all staff of St. Boniface General Hospital, both Unit 5B and Palliative Care. If you so desire, donations can be made to the Cancer Society in Jack's honour.
