STELLA MURRAY (KRUGER), aged 86 years, passed away on February 7, 2005 in Winnipeg, MB. She was born on February 8, 1918 in Lockport, MB. Aunt Stella, as she is so fondly remembered is survived by her nephews, Barry (Mary) Kruger of Courtenay, BC and Gordon (Marina) Kruger of Comox, BC. Stella was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Paul; her husband Allan; her sister Lilly and her brother Michael. Stella spent her working years in Winnipeg's hospitality industry. She was employed for many years at the landmark Marlborough Hotel in downtown Winnipeg and spoke often of the wonderful years she spent there. Upon retirement she remained in Winnipeg but throughout her life, Lockport was always very close to her heart and she spent many a happy hour there. Stella's remaining family is indebted to the Doctors, Nurses, and support workers who provided her with all that care during her final years. A special thanks is forwarded to the health care staff at Seven Oaks Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home in Selkirk, MB, with Father Jerry Talarski officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
