LOUISA GERMAINE MARIE MONDOR January 27, 1908 - February 7, 2005 Peacefully on February 7, 2005, at the Villa Youville, Ste. Anne, MB, Louisa (nee Morin) passed into the arms of her Lord at the age of 97. Her husband Albert predeceased her in 1967. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cecile Robert, Roger (Norma), Jeannine (Allen) Armitage and Gerard; 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Anne, Gisele, Lois; her sisters, Yvonne Lanoix, Lillian Neault; brothers, Origene, Theodore, Jean. She was predeceased by her sons, Jean, Joseph, Lionel, Maurice, Simon; her daughter Marie; sons-in-law, Gabriel Ste Marie, Elie Robert; her parents Albert and Appauline; sisters, Albertine, Marianne, Elizabeth, Irene; brothers, Joseph, Phillippe, Denis, Gerard. Mom was an excellent cook, an avid gardener, loved travelling and in later years made sure we all had mittens, slippers and anything else we asked her to knit. Mom enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. Her home was always open to anyone that wished to visit. Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, February 9 at 9:00 p.m. at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Ste. Anne, MB. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, February 10 at 10.30 a.m. at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Chartier as celebrant. Internment will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Robert, Jean Mondor, Richard Armitage, Yvon Legal, Dennis and Paul Ste Marie. The family would like to thank Dr. Gobeil and the staff at the Villa Youville for all their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Louisa's memory to the Villa Youville, 15 Charriere Rd., Ste Anne, MB R5H 1C9.
