BLANCHE EVANGELINE WRIGHT (nee GALLAGHER) Peacefully on February 6, 2005, at Calvary Place, Winnipeg, Blanche Evangeline Wright (nee Gallagher), beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and aunt passed away at the age of 91. Blanche was predeceased by her husband Charles Wesley in 1969; daughter Joan Gail in 2000; son-in-law Lawrence in 2001; grandson Craig Steven in 1966; brothers, Melbourne, Robert, Doug, Fred and Bill; and her sister Jean. Blanche will be lovingly remembered by her son Allan (Eunice); son Robert; grandchildren, Joan (Brian), Cheryl, Diana (Dave), Steven (Carrie) and Sherry; and great-grandchildren, Kate, Aren, Daniel, Leslie and Ashley; her sister Ruth (Neil); the McKay family; niece Gail (Elwin), niece Marilyn (Nathan), nephew Ted (Nancy) and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Blanche will be remembered fondly as a woman of faith and was filled with devotion for her family and friends. She was a longtime member of Zion Church and loved baking, knitting, family get-togethers and had a wonderful sense of humour and fun. Blanche was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will live on in the memory of those she leaves behind. The family wishes to extend their eternal gratitude to the kind and caring staff at Calvary Place for their loving care to our mother and grandmother. Visitation 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, February 11 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 12 at Bardal Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ted Barr officiating. A reception will follow immediately after the service. What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. We love you Nana.
