JOHN MOFFATT John passed away peacefully on February 3, 2005 in the Deer Lodge Centre. He was born August 13, 1936 in Roland, MB where he spent his childhood and received his education. He will be sadly missed by his wife Sylvia of 44 years; two sons, Mark (Christine) and the joy of his last year, his grandson William; and son Steve, all of Winnipeg. John was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Alice Moffatt of Roland, MB as well as two sisters in infancy. He is survived by his sister Dianne Allison of Edmonton. John had an avid interest in books and a love of poetry, a unique personality with a true enjoyment of people. This stood him in good stead in his career in the casual employment business. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart Research at the St. Boniface Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg.
