CONCETTA MAZZEI (nee GRANDE) Peacefully on February 8, 2005 Concetta Mazzei passed away at the Central Park Lodge, Poseidon Care Centre at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Peitro. She was predeceased by all her brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Isabella (Benito) Faralli and Maria Coutu; son Gino (Mary) Mazzei; her grandchildren, Guido (Marilyn) Faralli of Morden, Alida Josephine Faralli, Amelio Faralli, Melissa (Timo) Harju, Edward (Alexandra) Coutu, Gabriela Mazzei, as well as four great-grandchildren. Concetta was born in Amato, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1952 to join her husband who had immigrated in 1949. She was a dedicated mother and nana to all her children. She loved to cook for her family and we still miss her wonderful meals. She loved people and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. St. Joseph the Worker Parish community was very important to her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mary, Mother of the Church parish located at 85 Kirkbridge Drive. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Central Park Lodge, Poseidon Care Centre for the care and compassion demonstrated towards our mom and nana.
