JOHN KING RUSE Suddenly on Wednesday, February 9, 2005, John King Ruse passed away at home. John was born August 31, 1914 in England and came to Canada in 1918. He is survived by his loving wife Irene, married 58 years; daughters, Rosemary (Don) Gaffray, Debbie and friend (Howie); grandsons, Darrin and Jeffrey; his sister Margaret Kruger and brother Harry Ruse. He lived most of his life in Elmwood. He was employed with Claude Neon as a sign painter. In 1966, he moved with his family to Pine Falls, MB at which time they opened and owned the Marshall Wells Store. He retired in 1976 and moved to Silver Falls, MB. where he resided until his death. His happiest hours were spent at his beloved falls, doing his many woodworking projects especially the clocks which he gave to friends and will be cherished by all. His other love was travelling by motor home to the U.S., visiting friends and family which he and his wife did for many years. He was an active member of the Pine Falls United Church and will be sorely missed. Thank you to the Pine Falls Ambulance and the Pine Falls Hospital Staff for their promptness and care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Falls United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pine Falls United Church Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
