ALBERT LARAMEE Peacefully on February 8, 2005, Dad went to his eternal home at the age of 89 years and 11 months. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his children, Yvonne (Don) Johnson, Roland (Marie Ange) and Lea Main; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Agathe Parisien, Emiliene Poirier, Rolande (Noe) Galant; sisters-in-law, Leopauldine Rioux, Therese Rioux; brother-in-law Arthur Rioux; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Louise; one grandson, two sons-in-law, five sisters and three brothers. Dad farmed till he was in his 50s, then went on to do various jobs such as milk tester, salesman and carpentry. To many he was known as the Watkins man. He was very active in the community, president of the Co-op for several years, president of the Federation des Aires, and very involved in the building and function of the Centre de l'Amitie. He loved to play horseshoes and collected a cabinet full of trophies. He also liked to travel. Funeral service will be on Saturday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Joachim Catholic Church, La Broquerie, with Msgr. Frechette presiding. Viewing will be at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. A special thank you to Dr. de Moissac, to Ste. Anne hospital staff, to all his wonderful homecare people for the care they gave him and to his friends at the Chalet who looked out for him.
