RAYMOND MICHAEL WARCIMAGA On February 9, 2005 Raymond Michael Warcimaga, aged 55 years, of Winnipeg Beach, MB. Raymond was born in Gimli on September 28, 1949 and lived all his life at Winnipeg Beach. He leaves surviving his mother Olga Warcimaga of Winnipeg Beach; brothers, Clarence of Thompson, Ken (Anita) of Winnipeg Beach; sisters, Adeline (John) Lubianicki of Beamsville, ON, Susan (Zen) Gara of Brandon, Christine (Jim) Solmundson of Gimli, Sally Emms of Inwood, Linda Warcimaga of Winnipeg Beach, Nancy (Jim) Gennick of Winnipeg Beach, Kathy (Steve) Bloomer of Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Michael in 1983; brother Phillip in 1986; brother James in 1996; brother Bill in 2003; sister Ilene in 1995; his nephew Trevor Plishka in 2002 and brother-in-law Bruce Emms in 2004. Raymond lived all his life in Winnipeg Beach. He first started working with Dans Transfer, then later on he went to work for the Town of Winnipeg Beach. Raymond then moved on to doing odd jobs for the town people; snow shovelling, cutting grass and whatever else needed to be done. He resided at the Winnipeg Beach Hotel where he also did the beer orders and any other odd jobs. Raymond was well known and loved by everyone. He enjoyed the outdoors, bike riding, golfing and curling. He spent his spare time enjoying his coffee and visiting with his friends. Prayers will be held on Sunday, February 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 14 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Winnipeg Beach with burial to follow in the South Foley Cemetery. His pallbearers will be Jim Gennick, Eugene Zelenitsky, Grant Rogoski, Randy Arnold, Allen Stutsky and Garry Rogoski. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
