OSCAR VONG Unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, Oscar Vong, aged 20 years, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Oscar will be lovingly remembered by his parents Sy and Sounantha; brother Jason; his grandmothers, many aunties, uncles, cousins and friends. Oscar attended elementary at Wellington School, junior high at General Wolfe School and graduated from Kelvin High School in the I. B. program. He was a third year student at the University of Manitoba in Microbiology and currently working in the Immunology Department at the Health Sciences Centre. Oscar loved music, playing the saxophone, bassoon and clarinet. He was a former member of the Royal Winnipeg Rifles Military Band. Viewing 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Thursday, February 17 and Friday, February 18 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral service 9:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19 at Bardal Funeral Chapel.
