Phil is survived by his wife Faygee (Fay); his mother-in-law Elsie Yuffe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard, Stephen and Randie, Corky and Stephen Rosenfield, Debbie and Abe Braverman, Colorado Springs; his nieces and nephews, Lorne and Erin Yuffe, Lee, Rebekah and Sharla Braverman and Lana Rosenfield and his great-niece Cayla Holling, Aunt Pearl Gelfand (Sures) Montreal, Aunt Claire Sheftel (Hecht), Culver City, CA, which Phil enjoyed visiting, Dr. Robert Fingerote (Linda), Toronto. Phil had planned every holiday that we took. The greatest trip he took was to our nephew Lee Bar Mitzvah in Worms, Germany. His parents predeceased him, father-in-law Louis Yuffe, Uncle Herbert Sheftel Culver City, CA, Aunt Greta and Uncle Martin Hecht, Beverly Hills, CA, Aunt Min Goldberg (Sures) Toronto. Phil graduated with his Chemical Technology from Red River Community College. He was a history buff. If it had anything to do with history Phil had to either watch it on TV or read it. Phil worked for the Federal Government in various positions until retirement. Many people will remember the smell of his pipe that he smoked for many years until Faygee came along. Phil enjoyed his photography, curling, bowling. He was active with the CB radio club, the blind and had many close friends to this day. He was past master of William Douglas Lodge 176, Khartum Shriner and a Member of Vintage Cars Club for many years. Phil was seen at Shrine parades with his video camera. There were two things that Phil wanted to do, be District Deputy and President of Vintage Cars. Especially thank you Debbie and Ivan H.C.A. for our Saturday nights out. Pallbearers were his nephews, Lorne Yuffe and Lee Braverman, friends, Morris Klein, Royle and Daniel Derbitsky, Theodore Geurds, Robert Irvine and Henry Goldfeld.
