Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOLA (BETTY) ELIZABETH KATHLEEN CZINKOTA (nee CAIRNS) 1936 - 2005 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Betty Czinkota on Friday, February 4, 2005. Betty will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband Clarence of 45 years; three children, Danny (Czinkota) (Lynn) Yeryk, Karen (Allan) Moorhouse, Lisa (Doug) Hoyle and her grandchildren, Nick Czinkota, Craig (girlfriend Sara) and Colin Moorhouse, James and Crystal Hoyle; her brothers, Albert (Phyllis) of AB, Lyle (Mary-Anne) and numerous other relatives. Betty was predeceased by her father James, mother Lola, mother-in-law Ann, and father-in-law Vince. Betty was born in Glencairn, MB on February 13, 1936. She was educated in Kelwood and the Turtle Plane SD. Later moving to Sioux Lookout, ON, where she met and married Clarence in 1959. Then moving to Winnipeg, where they raised their family. Betty was employed at The Transcona Curling Club, Fort Garry Curling Club, and for many years at the Elmwood Legion, where she made many lifelong friends, retiring in 1994. During retirement she enjoyed her love of her flower gardens, making and crocheting doll clothes and anything else she could design and her arts and crafts. In her last days she became internet friendly, joining Club Pogo, where she was trying to achieve her race car badge. Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Betty's wishes, a private service will take place. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Betty's memory to a charity of their choice. God looked around His garden, And found an empty space, He then looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest, God's garden must be beautiful, He takes only the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you might never, Get well upon this earth again. He knew the road was getting rough, And the hills were too hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered, Peace be thine . It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
