JOHN DOERMER Peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2005 in Calvary Place Personal Care Home, at the age of 96 years. John was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Anna, in May 1992 and by his daughter Anna in 1941. Left to mourn his passing, are his two sons, John (Alma), and Henry (Ida); grandchildren, Dr. Erroll (Helga) Doermer, Dennis (Lore); and by his great- grandchildren, Jonathan and James, Leah and Hanna. John was born August 10, 1908 in Bikal, Hungary, and came to Canada via Germany in 1952. His final place of employment was Malm Green Implements for 15 years. Following his retirement in 1964, he enjoyed fishing, and traveling across Canada, as well as back to Germany and Hungary. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff in Calvary Place Personal Care Home, 2nd floor, with a special thank you to Eranio for his professional care and compassion for our father. Funeral Service will be held in Klassen Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 15 at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will take place one-half hour prior to service.
