JERRY M. SHOESKIE June 9, 1946 - February 11, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband and father on Friday, February 11, 2005 at Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 58 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife June, which he spent many years with. He will also be missed by his two sons, Daniel (Candace) and David (Kim). He also leaves to mourn his passing by his mother Mrs. Kay Shoeskie; his sisters, Cinda (Dan), Rosanne (Scott) and his brothers Ron (Joanne). His mother-in-law Mrs. Margaret Patrick, and sisters-in-law Louise (Harvey) and Nancy. Also numerous nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers, and his furry friends Rex, Mishka, Sadie and Jazz. He was predeceased by his father Peter Shoeskie and his father-in-law William Patrick. Jerry spent his younger years growing up in the North End and where he also started his family. Although he had a varied working career Jerry took pride and enjoyed working at Canadian Pacific Railway Diesel Shop. Eventually the family moved to the country but Jerry's heart never left his North End roots. The family wishes to thank the following: Dr. Sheila Parham, Winnipeg Clinic, Dr. Andrew Maksymiuk, Dr. Amitava Chowdhury and their staff, CancerCare Manitoba Clinic 2, Dr. Bruce Kowaluk, Kin Place Primary Health Care (Oakbank) and also thank-you to staff at Health Sciences Centre, Emergency Department and the staff of GA4 ward. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerry's memory to Cancer Research or Winnipeg Humane Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
