KATHLEEN (KAY) KEENA (nee CHYMYSHYN) Peacefully on February 13, 2005 Kay Keena went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ. Kay was born in Tyndall, MB on September 28, 1921. Left to mourn her passing are sons, Gary (Corinne), Greg (Janet); grandchildren, Leanne, Sean, Jacqueline and Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Craig and Sydni. Mom was predeceased by her husband Harold; father Harry; mother Anna; brother Michael; sisters, Mary and Pearl; and daughter-in-law Shelley. Mom trusted in the Lord every day of her life and now rests with Him in His arms. When I'm gone, release me, let me go... I have so many things to see and do, You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears; Be happy that I have had so many years. I gave you my love you can only guess, How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it is time I travel on alone. So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for awhile that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I won't be far away as life goes on; So if you need me, call, and I will come, Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear All of my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say Welcome Home . Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16 at Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St. (Buntain Chapel), with Pastor Bruce Martin officiating.
