EDNA ISABELLA (WATCHORN) STEPPLER of Miami, MB passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at the age of 91. Edna was born July 28, 1913 at Deerwood, MB, the third child of five, born to Henry and Emma Watchorn. She was predeceased by her husband Arnold in 1970; her sons, Clair in 1960 and Roy in 2005; and sister Edith in 2000. Edna will be sadly missed by her children, Roy (deceased) and Lynne Steppler of Miami, Betty and Stan Watkins of Clearwater, Raymond and Carol Steppler of Miami, Garry and Marilyn Steppler of Thunder Bay, Marion Bund of Glenboro and special friend Larry Heinrichs of British Columbia, Judy and Don LaBossiere of Treherne, Danny and Patsy Steppler of Miami. Also dear to her heart were 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as sisters, Mary Pearson, Ethel Sisson; and brother Norman and Daisy Watchorn; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16 at the Miami Community Centre followed by interment at the Miami Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Miami Community Centre. You will live on in the hearts of those who loved you. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Miami Friendship Centre or Miami United Church, Miami, MB R0G 1H0.
