RONALD JOHN FORMANIUK March 6, 1944 - February 3, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family announces the untimely passing of Ronald John Formaniuk at the age of 60. Ron leaves to mourn his mother Elsie Formaniuk; sons, Ronny, Randy (Leanne), Josh and Devin; daughter Robin; sister Helene (Ken); brothers, Steve (Karen) and Harry (Cheryl); one granddaughter Emily; as well as many nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his father Harry; brother Michael; and sister Katherine. Ron was born in West St. Paul, MB, and went to West St. Paul School. Ron loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Ron was a salesman by profession and was once told by his boss that he could sell ice boxes to Eskimos. Ron also dabbled in painting of pictures and wall murals as well as restoration of old cars. Ron will be sadly missed. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 21 in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home with Msgr. Maurice Comeault officiating. Interment in the Garden of The Everlasting Life at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be his sons Josh and Randy, nephews Dirk and Steven, friends, Dale Randle and Dave Cormack. Honorary Pallbearers will be his sons Ronny and Devin and brothers Steve and Harry. God looked around his garden And found an empty space; He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He only takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, and knew that you were in pain, So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, Peace be thine. It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
