NATIVIDAD ESMUNDO ELAGO The Lord God will wipe every tear from our eyes. There will be no pain and he will bind up our wounds. The Lord will give rest to her soul and grant it in the heavenly kingdom. With deep sorrow, we announced the peaceful passing of Natividad Esmundo Elago on February 13, 2005. A great wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother will be missed by her husband Tereso; daughters, Connie (Phillip), Virgie, Tessie, Evelyn; sons, Rudy (Cora); sons, from the Philippines Albert (Evelyn), Ramon (Lita); sister Rosalina Basco and son-in-law Jimmy Sy and Terry; grandchildren, Ariel (Donna), Arlene (Fran Madrid), Alma (Lem Ang), Glenda (Mike Santos), Glenn, Jaimee, Justine and Jeric, Trisha and TJ Ramos; grandchildren from the Philippines, Jeanette, Iris, Jr., Aaron, Vanny, Lira, Aliya and Pla; and 19 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Manuel. Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Health Sciences Centre (GA ward) for all their care. Viewing will be at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., Thursday, February 17, and Friday, February 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 19, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews St., with Fr. Dado Parrenas as celebrant. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
