GERTRUDE BICANIC (nee STRAUCH) Peacefully, on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Gertrude Bicanic, aged 85 years of Selkirk. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband Karl Bicanic and her parents, Robert and Berta Strauch. She is survived by her sister Erna Hoops; nephew Karl Heinz (Else); and nieces, Anneliese and Isle. Thanks to the staff on the medical and surgical floor at the Selkirk General Hospital as well as the staff at the Betel Home in Selkirk. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Selkirk, MB, with Pastor Dave Saude officiating. Donations may be made in Gertrude's memory to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 6088 PTH 9A, Selkirk, MB. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
