MARY ORYSCHAK Peacefully with her family at her side on February 13, 2005, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre. Mourning her passing are Anne Chubaty, Mary J. Kyrzyk, Olga (Dan) Harasymchuk and John (Liz) Oryschak; grandchildren, Chris (Chuck) Ring, Ron Chubaty (Sandy), Cathy Laszlo, Randy (Starla) Chubaty, EveLynne (Wayne) Cassidy, Katie (Michael) Gallaway, Lisa (Rob) Patton, Michael (Aymie) Oryschak and Michelle Oryschak (Mike); great-grandchildren, Christy and Caitlin Ring, Alyssa Laszlo, Alex and Amanda Chubaty, Dylan and Diandra Cassidy, Aaron and Allana Patton and Nathan Oryschak. Mary is survived by one sister Anne (Mike) Zushman of Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1981; four brothers and four sisters. Mary was born on November 10, 1908, to Stefan and Wasylina Pichlyk at Callento. In 1927 she married William Oryschak. They resided at Vita where they were members of St. Demetrius Catholic Church and where Mary was also a Women's League member. In 1966 Mary and Bill retired and moved to Winnipeg. For many years, they enjoyed the comfort of their church, family, friends, home and garden. After Bill's passing, Mary remained in her home until November 1993 when she went to reside at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre. There, until her passing, her life was enriched by the devoted, loving and compassionate care of the staff and caregivers on the second floor. To them, we express our utmost gratitude for their kindness and caring. Prayers will be said on Thursday, February 17 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 455 Douglas Ave. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Father W. Klimchuk on February 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church followed by interment at Green Acres. Pallbearers are her grandchildren, Ron Chubaty, Randy Chubaty, Cathy Laszlo, Michael Oryschak, EveLynne Cassidy, Lisa Patton, Christine Ring and Christy Ring. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations in Mary's memory may be made to the St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church Building Fund or to a charity of your choice.
