CHARLES HARRY ALTMAN It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles Harry Altman announces his passing on February 15, 2005. Harry was recently predeceased by his loving wife for over 50 years, Rose. Harry was also predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Bella Altman, by his brother Dave Altman, sister-in-law Dorothy, and brother-in-law Alex Waxman. Harry is survived by his sister Myra Waxman, nieces and nephews. In 1947, Harry started Manitoba Motors with his brother Dave and his father Sam. He was joined by his nephew Larry in 1974, until his retirement in 1982. Harry was a well known and highly regarded car dealer for 35 years. Harry was very devoted to his wife Rose and to his family. He had a great interest in Canadian and American politics and was an avid sports fan. There will be a graveside service on Friday, February 18, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rosh Pina Memorial Park. We would like to thank Dr. D. Meyrowitz and the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital and the Grace Hospice for their compassionate care.
