ROBERT GEORGE WALMSLEY On Saturday, February 12, 2005, Bob Walmsley, beloved husband of the late Betty Walmsley and father of Michael and Heather, passed away peacefully at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 85 years. Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife Betty; parents, Effie and David; and brother Sydney. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Heather (David) Evesham of England; son Mike (Frances) of Spruce Grove, Alberta; grand-children, Tanis (Jonathan), Jocelyn (Richard), Kathryn, Tommy (Dee) and Steven (Hanna); great-grandchildren, Danieke, Marijke, Matthijs and Misha; sisters-in-law, Dorothea Duigman, Dorothy Teddy Walmsley and Yvonne Oliver and nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Should you have memories of Bob that you would share with the family to be included in their memory book, please email mandfwalmsley@aol.com As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Bob's memory to St. John Ambulance, 535 Doreen Street, Winnipeg, R3G 3H5.
