Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY LANG May 29, 1919 - February 16, 2005 Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, Henry Lang aged 85 years passed away at 1:00 p.m. on February 16, 2005. Henry was predeceased by his beautiful wife, Helen in 1954; his parents, John and Katherine; brothers, Fred, George and Jack; and sisters, Mary, Molly and Katherine; also by his best friend Charlie. Henry is survived by his son Dennis (Rita); grandchildren, Kerri (Shayne), Neil, Courtney (Phil); daughter Wendy (Ray) and grandson Ryan. Henry was born May 29, 1919 and had a long and interesting life. He started his working career with Canada Packers as a cattle buyer, then with CPR and lastly as a custodian with the Winnipeg School Board. In between these jobs he worked in construction with the Shwartz and Sons. Henry raised his two children, Dennis and Wendy after his beloved wife Helen passed away suddenly in 1954. Henry loved to play the mouth organ, was a longtime season ticket holder for the Blue Bombers and loved watching the Toronto Blue Jays. The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Bushel, Palliative Support, the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital and the care aids (Geno, Eva, Amanda and Doris) for all their care and compassion for our wonderful dad and grampa. Interment will be on Friday, February 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery with a celebration of life being held at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Our beloved father, grandfather and friend will be greatly missed and cherished forever with the memories you left us.
