Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMABEL LILLIAN CUSITAR, born in St. James, MB April 30, 1920, died at Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care Unit February 15, 2005. She was the only daughter of the four children of the late Herbert and Mabel Rogers. Mabel lived a long, full life. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Mabel leaves behind Earl, her husband of 63 years, brother Reuben (Elizabeth) Rogers, daughter Barbara Belanger and granddaughter Brenna (Ben) Strewens. She was the mother of the late Roger Earl Cusitar, and sister of the late Herbert (Edith) Rogers and Albert (Cecelia) Rogers. She will be remembered by her brother's children and families, George Rogers, Bob (Heather) and Maureen Rogers and their mother Cecelia, and Roberta (Wilf) Younger and Wendy (Gordon) Walters. Mabel was cremated and a reception in her memory will be held in the activities room at her late residence, South Osborne Place, 360 Osborne St., Sunday, February 20 at 2:00 p.m. As Mabel requested, her ashes will be interred in the spring in the family plot at Brookside Cemetery beside her son Roger. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mabel's memory may be made to Klinic at 870 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 0P1 or to Mothers Against Drunk Driving at 586 River Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0E8.
