Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIDA DAMBRINK (HARTOG) Ida passed away peacefully on Friday, February 11, 2005 at the age of 97, at the Sharon Home in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Tony in 1996. She is survived by her loving daughter June; granddaughter Liane and husband Bruce; great-grandchildren, Josh (Malinda), Talia (Ryan), and Nathan. Ida was born in Amsterdam, Nederland on October 24, 1907 and came to Canada in 1908. She married Tony in 1929 and they enjoyed 67 years together. During their retirement years they enjoyed travelling to Holland, the country of their birth. Ida was completely devoted to her family and served us countless cheesies for lunch over the years, and many cups of tea with cookies. She loved to bake, and to babysit her great-grandchildren when they were young. She will be greatly missed. In accordance with Ida's wishes, cremation has taken place. A tea will be held on Sunday, February 20, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 19 Mornefortune Cres. so that friends may pay their respects to the family. Flowers are gratefully declined but donations to the Alzheimer Society, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2, or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated. Special thanks are extended to the staff at the Sharon Home for their care and kindness over the past two and a half years that Ida was a resident there. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 Broadway - 783-7211
