DOLORES LOWE (nee HEFFEL) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing on February 15, 2005 of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Dolores Lowe. She will be deeply cherished in our hearts and forever missed by her children, sons, Derrick (Tracy) and Stacey (Maria); daughter Darcy; and granddaughters, Alix and Samantha. She will also be remembered by her sister Jane (Ted) Batlowski of California, and brother Don (Ruby) Heffel of Wisconsin, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Dolores was predeceased by her husband Steve and her daughter Charlene. She was a hardworking devoted family person, who loved bingo and bowling. Her greatest joys were spending time with her granddaughters, cheering Alix on at ringette games and holding her newest addition, Samantha. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 21 at Klassen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations may be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3L 0K6, or charity of your choice. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • After hearing of Dolores' passing from our cousin Shirley Johnson, a flood of childhood memories came back to me and I realized once again how happy we were as kids at the Heffel family home on Matheson Avenue . Thank you Dolores for being such a great cousin. My deepest condolensces to her family on behalf of my Mother (Aunt Polly) as well, and I hope they enjoy many years of wonderful memories of both Steve and Dolores and their lives together. - Posted by: joan (heffel) gerus (Family) on: Feb 19, 2005
