Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILY LEWIS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emily Lewis, with her daughter by her side, at the F.W. Green Home in Cranbrook, BC, on February 16, 2005, at the age of 89. Emily was born in Leader, SK, on June 22, 1915. She lived for many years in Winnipeg, MB, before moving to Cranbrook in 1985. While in Winnipeg she enjoyed working part time at S.S. Kresgees Department Store. Emily is survived by her daughter Pat Skordal; grandchildren, Jackie (Kevin) Vleeming, Tracey (Charlie) Vanderlaars, Terri (Mitch) Brogan; great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Aspa, Ben Vanderlaars, Jacob Brogan; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Roy Lewis in 1986; son Gordon Lewis in 1997; son-in-law Allan Skordal in 2000; and several brothers and sisters. Service for Emily will be held at the Mount Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 19 at 11:00 a.m. Friends wishing to may make a donation in Emily's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 44 6th Avenue South, Cranbrook, BC V1C 2H3.
