GARTH HERBERT BARRICK On January 23, 2005, Garth Herbert Barrick, of Vermilion, AB, passed away at the age of 70 years. Garth will be sadly and forever missed by his loving wife JoAnn; brother Grant Barrick of Regina, SK; sisters, Gail Beecher of Errington, BC, and Faye Boyle of Vancouver, BC; brother-in-law Jack (Lorraine) Karras of Winnipeg, MB; nieces and nephews, Katheryne Barrick of Vancouver, Lynn (Joel) Loiselle, John Karras, Pat (Don) Spangelo, all of Winnipeg. Garth was predeceased by his parents Reginald and Marjorie Barrick. Funeral services were held January 27 at the Senior Citizens Centre in Vermilion, with Pastor Ted Clark officiating. Interment was at the Vermilion Public Cemetery in Vermilion. The family wishes to thank Dr. Andrew Belch and Joanne Hewitt of the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, AB, for their care and kindness, and to thank Dr. Luther Heys and Dr. Stewart Hunter of Vermilion for their gentle and compassionate care. Thank you to the nursing staff of the Vermilion Health Centre for the excellent nursing care they gave to Garth, and the tender loving way in which it was given.
