FRANK ROACHE Peacefully, with family at his side at Deer Lodge Centre, Frank Roache left our world on February 17, 2005. He leaves to mourn his wife of 56 years Eleanor; sister Brenda Brennan; children, Mike and wife Doris, Linda and husband Peter, Stuart, Wendy and husband Don, Debbie and husband Cat, Frankie and wife JoAnne; 13 grandchildren, Michael, Harmony, Shawna, Danny, David, Michael John, Derek, Greg, Ryan, Kelly, Aaron, Geoffry and Patricia; six great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1922, Frank attended school there and joined the Canadian Active Army in September, 1939. Frank was well known in the construction industry, and was a boilermaker for many years. He was a construction inspector and worked many large projects in Manitoba including the DEW line. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 22 at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway with a reception to follow. Following the reception a private interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army are gratefully accepted.
